“ปู ไปรยา” ลงพื้นที่แม่ฮ่องสอน ทำหน้าที่ทูตสันถวไมตรีUNHCR

นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งดารานักแสดงสาวที่มีจิตใจเสียสละเพื่อสังคม สำหรับ “ปู ไปรยา” ที่แม้ว่าคิวงานจะแน่น แต่ก็ยังคงลงพื้นที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ทูตสันถวไมตรีUNHCR อย่างสม่ำเสมอ ซึ่งล่าสุดสาวปู ไปรยา ได้ลงพื้นที่ไปยังค่ายผู้ลี้ภัยแม่สุรินทร์ จ.แม่ฮ่องสอน ซึ่งการลงพื้นที่ในครั้งนี้ สาวปูต้องเดินทาง 1 วันเต็ม นั่งรถอีก 3 ช.ม. ขับรถแบบไม่มีถนน เข้าป่า ลุยน้ำกว่า 40 ก.ม. เพื่อทำหน้าที่ทูตสันถวไมตรี UNHCR สำหรับสาวปู ไปรยา ก่อนหน้านี้เธอเป็นผู้บริจาคและทำงานเพื่อผู้ลี้ภัยเข้าปีที่ 4 แล้ว และได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นทูตสันถวไมตรีครบรอบ 1 ปี หลังจากที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นทูตสันถวไมตรีคนแรกของประเทศไทยและคนแรกของภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เมื่อวันที่ 31มกราคม 2560

I truly respect the dedication of UNHCR staff. During my mission to Bann Mae Surin refugee camp, I have experienced the hardship and commitment that the UNHCR staff have to their humanitarian work for refugees. Baan Mae surin camp is one of the hardest camps to reach by the thai border. It is a 3 hour drive to get in and the roads are not easy to access. It experiences floods during the rainy season and UNHCR staff work incredibly hard to help ensure the safety and well-being of refugees in this camp. I am thankful for UNHCR for allowing me to work for the cause that I’m passionate about. This month is my 4th year that I have donated and also worked closely with UNHCR.
